The Upshur County Economic Development Corporation was created to serve as a bridge of communication and cooperation between the county
government of Upshur County and the City of Gilmer. UpshurEDC has grown since its founding to serve the interests of all communities in Upshur County.
We work together with local governments, chambers of commerce, and businesses to bring better jobs to Upshur County.

Board of Directors
UpshurEDC is supported by three unique groups: The Upshur County Commissioners Court, The Gilmer Industrial Foundation, and Private Business. A voting board member represents each of these groups and elects a non-voting Chairman.
